We are seeking a temporary Multi-Peril Crop Insurance Specialist Assistant to join our team for the summer season, with a role based in the east central part of Wisconsin. This is a hybrid position with approximately 30-35 hours/week, with the potential for limited hours in the fall. This is a great opportunity to work closely with farmers, support our agents, and gain hands-on experience in the crop insurance industry.

Compensation:$15 - $20 hourly - no benefits
Responsibilities:- Handle information requests and ensure accurate processing of acreage reports.
- Conduct farm visits to collect and verify acreage data.
- Assist with in-field hail claim training and related field days.
- Communicate with customers to update policy information.
- Assist the Crop Hail department by opening and assigning claims.
- Submit claims on behalf of agents and ensure timely processing.
- Design and compile newsletters, mailings, and marketing materials.
- Scan and upload completed agent paperwork into internal systems.
- Agricultural background or familiarity with farming operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel as needed and work in outdoor farm settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
- Previous experience in crop insurance is a plus, but not required.
