Position Essential Functions
- Identify, analyze, and report risks on safety performance and regulatory compliance related to
- Manage all aspects of risk management and safety, including preventive, corrective, and claim
- Regularly visit operational locations, conduct ride-a-longs, and review drive cam recordings to
- Actively participate in management decisions regarding planning, forecasting, and measuring
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication within the
- Develop and maintain process for the timely notification, filing of claims, and consultation with
- Prepare directives advising management of RMF regarding safety, health, and risk management
- Develop, implement, and ensure completion of relevant safety and health training for all RMF
- Ensure organizational compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and
- Maintain and update policy and procedures, ensuring employee compliance
- Manage all insurance claims alongside the finance department, including workers’
- Provide input into the development of budgets and collaborate with executive management to
- Complete audits, analyze trends, aggregate reports, and provide executive summaries for all
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of experience in a risk management or environmental health and safety role
- Extensive knowledge of risk management and safety regulations and policies
- Fire or emergency response services experience preferred
- Experience with project management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide safety metrics and reporting for industrial contracts
- Ability to develop internal programs to prevent safety incidents
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
