Production Manager

Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage Field Managers, Assistant Field Managers, and Crewmen
- Ensure timely performance evaluations are conducted for all production and field staff
- Ensure that policies and procedures are disseminated and followed
- Create a safe working environment for employees and subcontractors
- Maximize fleet usage and minimize rental equipment costs
- Conduct pre-job meetings for assigned jobs and attend other pre-job meetings
- Coordinate plant delivery schedules with the Plant Purchaser
- Source, purchase below budget, and schedule delivery of bulk hard materials and rentals
- Oversee preparation of submittals
- Ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quickly
- Comprehensive knowledge of landscape installation and Landscape Construction techniques
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and achieve targeted levels of productivity
- Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers
- Ability to project a professional image and a positive attitude at all times
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with customers and vendors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
