POSITION SUMMARY

The Per Diem Residential Coordinator (RC)- Willow Landing is the first contact for residents, emergency personnel, and visitors arriving at the building. The Per Diem RC will answer the phones, direct visitors, view surveillance cameras, conduct security rounds at the building, perform light cleaning duties and assist the Team Lead Residential Coordinator with other day-to-day administrative tasks as required. This is an on-call, as needed position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming phone calls and act as the first point of contact for Emergency Calls
  • Engage with residents, visitors, commercial tenants, and emergency personnel
  • Monitor Cameras and document incidents as necessary
  • Monitor visitors coming in and out of the building and pay close attention to ?unwanted or questionable? visitors
  • Conduct rounds through the campus during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
  • Respond to crisis that occur during the shift and log daily activities and notable happenings
  • Complete all incident reporting documentation and program reporting
  • Provide administrative assistance including data entry, paperwork processing, filing, and shredding as needed
  • Coordinate bus usage and other transportation need as appropriate
  • Coordinate building issues with Team Lead
  • Assist residents with lockouts, phone calls, general administrative assistance
  • Maintain an activity log during shift
  • Light custodial duties to maintain office space and common areas
  • Receive and enter all Maintenance Requests reported during shift
  • Assist residents with scheduling transportation and accessing basic information and referrals
  • Receive and log deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Use de-escalation techniques when engaging with upset residents
  • Ensure that you are aware of resident issues
  • Implement Safety Plan response procedures and guidelines.
  • Actively participate in and support resident participation in health and safety practices and accident prevention. Report noted hazards in accordance with maintenance guidelines
  • Maintain office work environment in a clean, organized, and safe manner
  • Conduct shift inspections of work areas for unsafe conditions and remove SHARPS
  • Ensure all accidents are reported to Team Lead and Operations Manager/Program Director
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings and training courses to meet training goals
  • Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment

  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance consistent with agency standards
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to RUPCO Inc.?s applicable program rules, regulations and policies. Keep abreast of any changes or modifications to policies or regulations.

Salary: $21 hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of customer/client service experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the human services field preferred

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Experience with de-escalation techniques in social settings
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse groups
  • Ability to organize, work independently, negotiate and solve problems
  • Basic computer literacy
