Fundraising Consultant

Junior through Senior level Consultants provide on and off-site service to clients in the areas of capital campaigns, pre-campaign studies, comprehensive development programs and executive search. Positions available for full-time, and project-related services.

Junior level positions provide support of firm's executive team members.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Preparation of operational materials for pre-campaign studies including questionnaires, gift charts, preliminary case statement
• Conducting interviews and focus groups for pre-campaign studies
• Review, analysis and segmentation of donor/prospect database
• Data tabulation and creation of PowerPoint presentations
• Drafting a wide-range of client materials including direct mail/solicitations, brochures/case statements, study reports, speaking points, agendas and report meetings
• On-scene counsel to clients
• Training and support of volunteers and staff
• Creation and monitoring of project timelines
• Conducting meetings as well as small to mid-size group presentations

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Track record of proven advancement accomplishments in the non-profit sector (Senior Associate level)
• Astute attention to detail and the ability to think creatively and strategically
• Flexible, skilled problem-solver and self-starter
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media and familiarity with database management
• Mid-Atlantic based with flexibility for both regional driving and air travel
