- Engage with customers to understand their sleep concerns and recommend tailored solutions that improve their rest and overall well-being
- Conduct product demonstrations, explaining features and benefits of various sleep-related items such as mattresses, pillows, sleep aids, and accessories
- Assist customers with product selection by providing detailed information on materials, firmness levels, and technology features
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive, organized, and accessible product arrangements that enhance the shopping experience
- Stock shelves efficiently, monitor inventory levels, and communicate stock needs to ensure product availability at all times
- Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining friendly communication, phone etiquette, and active listening skills to address customer inquiries effectively
- Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service is highly preferred
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and clearly explain technical features to diverse audiences
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a broader customer base
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to assist customers remotely or over the phone
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and managing stock counts accurately
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving merchandising, stocking, and sales processes
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures including cash handling and POS systems
