Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced in-house CPA to lead accounting, tax, and compliance work for our U.S. operations. This role will take ownership of bookkeeping, tax filings, and federal, state, and local compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly close, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare internal financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records under U.S. GAAP.
• Handle federal, state, and local tax filings, including corporate income tax, sales/use tax, payroll tax, and business-related filings as applicable.
• Monitor compliance matters in Washington State, New Jersey, and other jurisdictions as needed.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll providers, banks, external tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies.
• Respond to tax notices, compliance inquiries, and audit-related requests.
Qualifications
• Active U.S. CPA license.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• Ability to independently manage full-cycle accounting and compliance work.
• Experience with multi-state operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and communication skills.
