Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Carlstadt, NJ, for a Datacenter Technician. The Datacenter Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of datacenter operations, including installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and infrastructure. The role involves tasks such as cable routing, structured cabling, monitoring equipment, managing server rooms, and resolving technical and network issues. The technician will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of operation and connectivity within the datacenter environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cable Management, including organizing and maintaining cabling systems.
- Experience in Data Center Operations, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting industry standards.
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting network and system-related issues.
- Hands-on experience with Cabling and Structured Cabling installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with hardware configuration and server management is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate with team members to address urgent technical needs.
- Physical ability to lift and install equipment as required.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in data center operations, networking, or a related field is a plus.
- Server Hardware Replacement Experience.
- Reliable transportation.

- At least 1 year experience.

Schedule:
- Work 12-Hour shifts alternating 3 and 4 day work weeks.

Pay Range:
- $60,000 - $72,000 a year salary.
