Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring a smooth execution of their digital marketing strategies. This role bridges the gap between our Digital Marketing Specialists (strategy) and Project Manager (execution) by helping translate technical details into actionable client updates. You will oversee client accounts, ensure alignment with marketing strategies, and proactively communicate project progress and results.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clarity regarding expectations and deliverables.
Work with the Digital Marketing Project Manager to relay marketing strategy insights to clients in a way that is easy to understand.
Support the Digital Marketing Project Manager and Digital Marketing Specialists by providing technical clarity on client requirements, ensuring campaigns align with expectations.
Proactively track campaign performance and communicate key insights, optimizations, and next steps to clients.
Manage client meetings, providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations based on marketing data provided by Digital Marketing Specialists.
Identify opportunities to expand services, ensuring clients maximize the value of their digital marketing strategies.
Work with internal teams to ensure that campaign execution aligns with client goals and timelines.
Handle client escalations professionally, resolving issues promptly with internal team support.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing account management or client services (agency experience preferred).
Strong understanding of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, Content Marketing, and Ecommerce. (Not required as an expert, but sufficient to communicate effectively with clients.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical strategies into clear client updates.
A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to enhance client relationships and add value.
Strong organizational and project management skills—ability to handle multiple accounts at once.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Zoho One, Semrush, Google Suite, and analytics tools preferred.
Experience with AI Technology tools similar to OpenAI Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek.
Experience with paid advertising and search marketing (PPC), familiarity with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads is preferred with the help of the PPC specialist.
Experience with SEO and content optimization is desirable. Familiarity with Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Surfer SEO helps in conducting keyword research, analyzing competitors, and improving website rankings with the help of SEO Specialists.
Experience with website management and content updates, as well as basic familiarity with WordPress is desirable.
