What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Transport -Days position at Runnells Rehab Center?
Runnells Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is looking for Full-Time Resident Transport Aides to help transport residents during the day.
The idea candidate would be someone who is patient and has excellent communication skills to interact with residents and other healthcare staff.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to support Nursing staff with transporting patients from one resident care area to another.
- Assisting with moving residents to and from bed/wheelchair/etc.
- Physically assist a patient to standing position and safely use assistive devices.
- Able to transport resident with oxgen tank, heart monitor, and other needed medical equipment
Qualificatins:
- H.S. Diploma/ G.E.D
- Must be able to support and push residents of various body conditions ( weights ranging from 100 lbs to 300 lbs )
- Must be vaccintated for Covid-19 or have exemption letter for medical/ religious reasons
- Preffered Certified Nursing Assistant and LTC experience
