Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Assistant to join our middle school team. In this role, you will work closely with students, classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to provide a positive and productive learning environment for students in grades 6–8. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is passionate about student success and eager to make a meaningful difference in young people's lives.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in small group work, and one-on-one support
  • Monitor and encourage student engagement, behavior, and progress throughout the day
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and school administration regarding student needs
  • Utilize technology tools and educational software to support classroom and administrative tasks
  • Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional periods as assigned
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in support of student services and accommodations

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree Preferred
  • Experience working with children or adolescents Preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour
