Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Assistant to join our middle school team. In this role, you will work closely with students, classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to provide a positive and productive learning environment for students in grades 6–8. Responsibilities
- Support students in small group work, and one-on-one support
- Monitor and encourage student engagement, behavior, and progress throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with teachers and school administration regarding student needs
- Utilize technology tools and educational software to support classroom and administrative tasks
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional periods as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in support of student services and accommodations
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent Required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree Preferred
- Experience working with children or adolescents Preferred
