What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Inspector position at Rummel Klepper and Kahl?
RK&K is currently hiring a Bridge Inspector to join our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) team in Tallahassee Florida. This position is in our Construction Management group which oversee the contractor's operations on roadway and bridge construction projects.
Essential Functions
- Assisting the Project Administrator or Senior Inspector in daily bridge / roadway inspection
- Ensuring contractor compliance alongside quality control
- Performing verification inspections and testing as required
- These tests and inspections include, but are not limited to : earthwork, asphalt, concrete, bridge and miscellaneous structures, toll facilities, lighting, signalization, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, etc.
- This position receives general supervision and instruction from the Senior Inspector and / or Project Administrator
Required Skills and Experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
Required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sing, lighting and traffic signal structure foundations
