Essential Functions
- Welcome guests and assist with marina, rental, and cabana activities
- Operate boat tours and provide engaging, informative narration
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of marina facilities and boats
- Perform routine inspection and light maintenance of boats
- Coordinate with Cabana staff regarding reservations and special events
- Follow and enforce all marina and boating safety procedures
- Maintain appropriate inventory and supplies
- Assist the Cabana Manager and team as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Previous boating experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain a North Carolina Boater Safety License and Lake Lure Boater License
- CPR, Lifesaving, and/or First Aid certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members, including providing clear instructions and information
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity
- Stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
- Occasionally lift or move items up to approximately 15 pounds
- Perform tasks that may involve bending, reaching, and handling equipment
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and watercraft as part of job duties, including driving a vehicle in the performance of certain responsibilities
- Drive vehicle for performance of some job duties
