Physical demands of the position:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time while using a computer and/or keyboard. The employee is required to communicate verbally and hear. The employee may be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, and stoop or kneel. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including the use of computers.
In this key role you will be responsible for:
- Engage directly with customers to assist in onboarding their workloads to Rumble Cloud.
- Help customers understand Rumble Cloud offerings and parallels to other hyperscalers
- Assist sales teams with technical questions and cloud demonstrations
- Contribute to documentation, sharing knowledge and lessons learned with customers and the internal team.
- Troubleshooting customer cloud usage issuesDevelop and present migration strategies for customers moving from other cloud providers or on-premises infrastructure to our platform.
- Hands on experience with provisioning and usage of major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.
- Operational experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes.
- Demonstrate technical understanding of cloud architecture and principles.
- Strong ability to lead technical conversations directly with customers
- Ability to provision Linux system from a cloud image and deploy a basic web server as a simple rapid customer demonstration.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, virtualization, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly with a focus on OpenStack technologies.
- Understanding of networking protocols and principles, as well as network virtualization.
- Familiarity other major cloud providers and their related services
- Knowledge of Object Storage offerings like S3. CEPH based storage knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Virtual switching technologies like OVS/OVN
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Certified OpenStack Administrator, or similar).
- Experience with hybrid or multicloud architectures.
- Background in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), or CI/CD processes.
- Experience working in a startup or highly entrepreneurial environment.
