We are currently searching for a top-level professional to partner with on a large scale project representing the Owner onsite to facilitate safety management and loss control programs for a large-scale new construction project in the Columbus, OH area. We are looking forward to hearing from you.Primary responsibilities include:Work with Owner and General Contractor (GC) safety teams in a role supporting construction operationsProvide oversight of organizational guidelines for construction contractor management and operational activitiesLead teams of contractors and safety professionalsDevelop and implement life safety requirements and controlsConduct site safety observations, identify areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive reportsFacilitate effective coordination and communication through active participation in meetings/group collaborationFacilitate trainings and other safety-related presentations for site personnelUpdate safety logs, write safety reports and submit these to appropriate staffParticipate in incident investigations and analyze incident reportsImplement corrective action procedures and track progress on corrective actionsEnsure strong communication between RUKCO team, site personnel and client project management Work with other safety professionals, project management and trades personnel to establish the safety cultural initiativesMinimum Experience and Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in safety or loss controlFocused experience in leading safety initiatives during large scale new construction projectsCertification through BCSP (i.e. CHST, CSP, STSC)In addition to the above qualifications, we're also looking for a team member who:Is an excellent communicator and works well with a diverse group of peopleHas outstanding written communication skillsWorks well in a group and is very collaborativeTakes initiative and is a self-starter; requires little supervisionMeets deadlines, goal-driven and wants to learn and grow in a careerWant to take the next step in your career with RUKCO? Salary : $72,000 - $96,600
