The Senior Vice President (SVP), Foodservice Business Unit is the executive leader accountable for the overall performance, growth strategy, and profitability of the Ruiz Foods Foodservice Business Unit. This role serves as the strategic leader of the Foodservice portfolio, responsible for setting and executing enterprise‑aligned sales and marketing strategies, overseeing the full Foodservice P&L, and leading cross‑functional execution across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
As a member of the Operating Committee, this role is a key thought partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing strategic leadership to accelerate sustainable growth, defend and expand market share, and strengthening customer and strategic partner relationships across the Foodservice and Convenience Store channels.
COMPENSATION: $340,000 - 370,000/Year DOE, Bonus Eligible

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Unit & Strategic Leadership
- Own and lead the Foodservice Business Unit P&L, including revenue growth, margin performance, and operating expense management.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term Foodservice business strategies aligned with enterprise objectives and multiyear growth plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, providing insights into market dynamics, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
- Establish and continuously refine Foodservice priorities, objectives, and operate plans to ensure disciplined execution and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Lead all Foodservice sales strategies, including channel segmentation, customer targeting, pricing strategy, and selling methodology.
- Direct and support major and strategic Foodservice customer relationships, including national, regional, and C-store accounts.
- Partner with distributors, and strategic partners to expand distribution, increase velocity, and optimize trade investment.
- Monitor sales performance against goals and implement corrective actions to drive results.
- Oversee Foodservice brand and portfolio strategy, including positioning, innovation pipeline, and go‑to‑market plans.
- Lead development and execution of integrated Foodservice marketing strategies, promotions, and communications that drive demand and profitability.
- Direct marketing analytics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision‑making.
- Ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across customers, channels, and promotional platforms.
- Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to ensure innovation, capacity planning, and flawless execution.
- Influence new product development priorities and commercialization timelines to meet Foodservice customer needs.
- Champion disciplined planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing Foodservice leadership team across Sales and Marketing.
- Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success leading Sales and Marketing organizations with full P&L accountability.
- Strong experience in Foodservice, C‑store, frozen/refrigerated, or adjacent categories preferred.
- Proven ability to build and scale brands, defend existing business, and drive new customer and channel growth.
- Track record of leading cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented, family‑owned, or entrepreneurial environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
