Receiving Lead

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the order filling process of the raw / packaging materials from the warehouse to the processing / packaging departments and proper movement of product.
• Ensure that raw materials and packaging materials are received timely and accurately.
• Ensure the team members follow established policies and procedures.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, customer service and housekeeping.
• Direct product flow and daily activities as per receiving plan.
• Provide excellent customer service to all departments, customers and carriers.
• Completing daily labor activity log and providing a daily checklist of warehouse TQM.
• Oversee the order picking, returns, receiving and stocking processes on shift.
• Responsible for receiving audits and submitting PIP requests to maintenance.
• Perform disciplinary counseling when needed.
• Responsible for enforcing all safety rules and provide training to team members.
• Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position
• Know how to drive yard truck.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, AIB and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience as a Lead or Supervisor required.
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift and warehouse experience required.
• Ability to motivate and lead others.
• Effective communication skills, both in speaking and writing.
• M3/WMS software experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
• Organized, professional and capable of multitasking.
• Capable of working independently and with little direction.
• Bi-lingual, English/Spanish preferred. #LI-DNI
