What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Monitor position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
COMPENSATION:
- $17.85 - $18.60/hr
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain all assigned areas clean and free of any safety hazards.
- Be well informed of any changeovers of product.
- Properly identify product in containers.
- Ensure there is no waste in areas.
- Return unused supplies to designated areas.
- Ensure proper containers are taken to proper destination.
- Recycle open packages of product.
- Assist in setting up the lines assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must know basic mathematical functions.
- Must be Flexible to rotate to other areas as needed
- Must be able to read schedules, codes, bags, and films.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to read and follow all GMP’s and Sanitation procedures.
- Good attendance required.
