What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Monitor position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read schedules and specifications to take correct resource materials to packaging line.
- Supply proper material to packaging lines throughout the shift as needed.
- Communicate with others to be informed of any changeovers of product.
- Properly identify work in process (WIP) overflow product that is placed in overflow containers.
- Take contaminated containers to proper destination.
- Recycle acceptable open packages of product back to packaging line.
- Assist in setting up packaging lines assigned per labor model.
- Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, GMPs, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
- Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
