Sales Clerk - The Gun Corner

The Gun Corner is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Sales Clerk to assist customers with firearms, accessories, apparel, and general merchandise sales. This role places a strong emphasis on maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor. Candidates should be comfortable folding apparel, organizing displays, restocking merchandise, and paying close attention to detail in both merchandising and paperwork. 

This position also involves assisting customers, operating the register, and helping ensure all firearm sales, documentation, and procedures are handled accurately, safely, and professionally. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and comply with all applicable federal, state, and company firearm policies and procedures.

• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow procedures


• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment


• Comfortable working with apparel merchandising, folding clothing, and maintaining displays


• Basic computer and cash handling skills


• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed


• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

• Assist customers with firearm, accessory, and apparel purchases


• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor


• Fold, organize, size, and restock apparel displays throughout the day


• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, displayed, and visually presentable


• Complete and review required paperwork accurately and thoroughly


• Pay close attention to detail in merchandising, inventory, transactions, and documentation


• Assist with receiving and processing inventory shipments


• Follow all company policies and legal requirements related to firearm sales


• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management


• Assist with store promotions, merchandising projects, and seasonal displays


• Help maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming shopping environment

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation


• Ability to bend, reach, stock shelves, and organize merchandise throughout the shift

This position works in a retail environment that includes firearms, ammunition, apparel, and general merchandise. Safety, customer service, organization, and attention to detail are essential parts of the role.
