Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints to accurately assemble custom Rugged Science products
- Manufacture custom cable assemblies
- Perform quality inspections to ensure the products meet quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair products according to engineering specifications
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Collaborate with Engineering and provide valuable input to increase manufacturability of products
- Accurately track labor time and material usage within ERP system (Global Shop)
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Key Skills
- Two or more years of mechanical assembly experience
- Great attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Electrical assembly and point-to-point wiring experience (preferred)
- Soldering experience (preferred)
