What are the responsibilities and job description for the B2B Sales Representative position at Rugged Radios?
We're looking for a motivated Dealer Sales Account Specialist to help us continue B2B growth by supporting and expanding our network of wholesale dealers, distributors, and business partners.
The successful candidate will inherit an established group of dealer accounts and will be responsible for maintaining those relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing new business.
Compensation
New hires will receive introductory guaranteed compensation during the first 90 days of employment. Introductory compensation is expected to range from $41,600 to $62,400 on an annualized basis depending on experience and qualifications.
Following the 90 day introductory period, compensation transitions to the Company's standard sales compensation plan consisting of an hourly base wage of $16.90 per hour plus commission paid twice each month.
This position includes an established account base, providing the opportunity to build existing relationships while increasing earnings through account growth and sales performance.

What You'll Do
- Develop and cultivate strong business-to-business sales relationships.
- Support and grow existing dealer and distributor accounts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Communicate with customers to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Create and process sales quotes and orders through Shopify.
- Collaborate with management, peers, and the Marketing Department to help ensure customer needs are met.
- Collect and analyze customer information to better understand changing needs.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and industry awareness.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of sales experience involving wholesale accounts or business-to-business sales.
- Experience or knowledge of the off-road recreational vehicle industry and/or industries served by Rugged Radios preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Motivational and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Shopify, QuickBooks, and CRM software.
- High school diploma or GED required. College-level business coursework, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
