What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator position at Rugby Architectural Building Products?
Position: We are growing and seeking a seasoned Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator for our building material distribution warehouse in Carlstadt! The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders.
This role is a Safety Sensitive position. As part of our hiring process, candidates are required to undergo pre-employment drug testing and background checks unless prohibited by state or local law.

Your Day-to-Day: to crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:
- Offload trucks with materials from our vendor and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.
- Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification is a plus!
- Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.
- Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
- Lift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.
