Overview
Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, with full benefits Repair Technician, and is seeking a responsible, self-starter to service and maintain our equipment while providing superior customer service to our established field locations
We are looking for candidates like you that like to work independently, has a successful record of accomplishment, and can self-manage their productivity daily in a fast-paced environment in the servicing of equipment. If you have small equipment or mechanical knowledge? Like to work with your hands? We want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Essential Functions (not all inclusive):
- Dynamic, with an outgoing personality and a desire to learn
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems
- Repair carpet cleaning machines as required
- Clean and prepare equipment for shipping to Districts
- Organize and maintain the warehouse as requested (5% of workday)
Qualifications
Requirements:
- General mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Prior experience with repairing equipment, a plus
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Must be physically able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and manuver (lift, push pull) 40-75 lbs (pallet, cleaning equipment and products)
