What We're Looking For:
RuffleButts is looking for a passionate and dedicated Human Resources manager to lead everything People & Culture at RuffleButts. This role is perfect for someone who loves everything Human Resources; from payroll & benefits to onboarding & employee relations and everything in between! This role reports directly to the CEO of RuffleButts and will own and lead onboarding, offboarding, payroll, compensation, benefits, employee relations, employment compliance, events and community. We need someone who loves people and will do whatever it takes to continue making RuffleButts the best place to work in North Texas! The ideal candidate has worked in retail and has experience as a generalist supporting a variety of employees, roles and levels within an organization.

To Summarize, You Will:
Reporting directly to the CEO supporting everything HR including: recruiting, onboarding, total rewards, employee engagement & relations, and performance management.
Act as a consultant to senior management and a liaison for employees to drive business performance by utilizing knowledge of the business and the interrelationships to influence strategy and decision making.
Conduct research & analysis of organizational trends including: attrition, salary benchmarking, performance, and engagement to help develop strategies to address business needs and challenges.
Constantly challenge the status quo, identify opportunities, and recommend changes to increase performance, reduce costs, and positively impact organizational KPIs.
Ensure positive employee relations by engaging in proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution, and fair & equitable treatment.
Heavily involved in key business projects across multiple functions, and comfortable managing budgets and removing barriers to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsible for compensation, benefits, leave, payroll processing, HRIS administration, FMLA, employee relations, investigations, and disputes.
Maintain employer brand, prospect and screen new talent when necessary, generate offers of employment, and bring new employees through orientation & training.
Own performance management including goal setting and reviews, development plans, PIPs & corrective actions.
Conduct exit interviews and facilitate terminations when necessary.
Build HR team with successful hires as needed to support company growth.
Requirements:
What You Need for this Position:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field or a combination of education and experience.
5-7 years of Human Resources leading HR functions.
HR experience supporting a dynamic, small/medium sized business, or retail company.
In-depth knowledge and experience in retail companies or have worked in manufacturing or supply chain strongly preferred.
Experience with human resources information systems including the ability to run reports and analyze data.
