Role Description The Professional Sales Representative role is a contract, on-site position based in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will prospect and generate new business through door-to-door outreach, networking, referrals, and local marketing activities. You will conduct property inspections, identify roofing needs, explain recommended solutions, and prepare accurate estimates and proposals. The role includes following up with leads, managing a sales pipeline, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement. You will collaborate with project managers and office staff to ensure smooth project handoffs, maintain detailed records in the company’s CRM, and represent Ruff Roofing professionally in all customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing.
- Ability to perform basic roof and exterior inspections, read or learn to read estimates, and explain technical details in clear terms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills, with a focus on building trust and conveying value.
- Time management, organization, and follow-up skills to handle multiple leads, appointments, and deadlines.
- Comfort working in the field, including climbing ladders and accessing roofs safely, in varying weather conditions.
