Doggy Daycare

Ruff Ridge Retreat is hiring a reliable part-time team member for consistent daycare coverage (3-5 days/week) at our location. The Ruff Ridge Chateau sits in a quiet mountain neighborhood right off the Ecusta Trail, just 10 minutes from downtown Hendersonville. With two fenced in yards and several walking trails nearby, the Chateau is a comfortable space for pups to play & relax with individual kennels and a group play space. We care for dogs of all kinds, from potty-trained puppies to senior dogs and every pup in between. Enjoy steady hours with lots of walks, outside time, playtime, and chill/rest periods with the dogs, plus a designated workspace & lounge area for team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on daycare for up to 6 dogs at a time
• Safety, supervision, and enrichment
• Send daily photos/check-ins
• • Owner handles all admin work so that you can focus on being with the pups!
• Keep the Chateau clean & organized
• Follow dog care protocols and facilitate smooth drop-offs & pickups

Requirements

• Proven dog-handling experience (personal/professional)
• Reliable transportation to/from Chateau (10min from downtown Hendersonville)
• Physically able to take dogs on walks, perform cleaning tasks, lift 30lbs
• Comfortable with groups up to 6 dogs (all pre-screened at Meet & Greet with owner)
• Punctual, organized, positive
• Hours: Mon-Fri daycare and occasional Sat/Sun daycare coverage; half-days (3-5hrs) or full (8-9hrs) between 8am-6pm
• Need consistent 3-5 days/week

• Pay: 85% of charged fees (avg $15-21/hr equivalent) tips team member discounts (board/daycare/walk for your own dog)
