Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in design and drafting using CAD and other engineering tools/applications
- Support site evaluations and data collection for agricultural projects
- Aid in preparation of permit applications and technical documentation
- Conduct pump and pipeline calculations under supervision
- Collaboration with engineers on innovative infrastructure solutions
- Participation in project meetings to understand client objectives and requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation to ensure compliance standards
- Conduct stormwater modeling calculations using HydroCAD
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Agricultural or Civil Engineering
- Basic knowledge of agricultural systems, planning, and design concepts
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Familiarity with HydroCAD and USLE software
