Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent, based in Madison, WI. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction sites, ensuring the successful and safe execution of projects. Daily responsibilities include managing on-site operations, enforcing safety protocols, overseeing budgets, scheduling, and coordinating with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. The role requires regular travel to project sites.
Qualifications
- 10 years as a true "Commercial Construction Superintendent" (not including multi family residential/commercial suites). Needs to have knowledge and worked with metal buildings.
- Proficient in Construction Site Management and ensuring Construction Safety standards are met
- OSHA 30 Hour
- Strong Organizational Skills and effective Budgeting expertise
- Solid Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage sub-contractors
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Ability to travel frequently and adapt to varying project environments
- Previous experience in commercial construction; experience with design-build projects is a plus
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
