Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items using fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment with efficiency and attention to detail
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and proper food handling practices
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of quality, speed, and presentation in every order
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fast-paced settings such as fine dining or casual eateries
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including frying, grilling, and basic culinary skills
- Familiarity with menu planning and food handling procedures
- Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and general kitchen operations are advantageous
- Background working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to coordinate efficiently during busy hours
