What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Fabrication Office Manager & Shop Support position at Rudd & Son Welding, Inc.?
Have knowledge of welding and steel fabrication. Customer service which involves answering phone calls and waiting on customers to determine service required. Creates simple drawings for the fabrication of structural steel and rebar components. Creates cost estimates of materials, labor and delivery for the bidding of projects. Assist walk in customers with material requests, determining availability, cost and in some cases locating material out in the shop and cutting to length. Assist in the loading of steel materials for customers. Orders materials (structural steel, rebar and related items) from suppliers to maintain material inventories and have materials on hand for walk in customers and for awarded jobs. Creates invoices for work performed and receives payment for work performed. Estimating jobs and assigns jobs to the shop and ensures the jobs are getting done. Performs various other tasks as assigned.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
