Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with specialized expertise in concrete construction to lead and coordinate self-perform projects within our construction company. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of concrete projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track milestones and deadlines
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation of design intent and scope of work
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and heavyBid tools to secure materials and services at optimal costs
- Oversee construction site activities related to concrete pouring, formwork, reinforcement placement, finishing, and curing processes
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes
- Conduct site inspections to monitor safety compliance, quality standards, and progress against project plans
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure all work aligns with industry standards like Civil 3D for site design and schematics for technical accuracy
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on concrete or heavy civil projects; prior heavy site experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration
- Proficiency in project management tools including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction software platforms
- Skilled in construction estimating techniques and cost control measures
- Familiarity with civil engineering design software such as Civil 3D is preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams on construction sites while maintaining safety standards and quality assurance
- Strong communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse stakeholders
