As a Principal Engineer for Capacity, you’ll ensure our cloud infrastructure can handle today’s demands—and tomorrow’s growth. You’ll focus on performance, scalability, and reliability, combining hands-on development with strategic planning. From analyzing system performance to designing failover mechanisms, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our services resilient and efficient.
Requirements
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.

Requirements
- Anticipate future resource needs and design for scalability.
- Continuously monitor system performance and run load tests.
- Optimize compute resources to prevent over-provisioning or shortages.
- Implement redundancy and failover strategies to minimize downtime.
- Automate capacity-related tasks using Python, Bash, and other tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
- 10 years in capacity engineering or related domains.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, and automation scripting.
- Deep expertise in Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure management and automation.
- Proficiency with APM tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
- Familiarity with hyperscaler platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure).
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- A track record of innovation and proposing creative solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and strong communication skills.
- Self-starter mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
