We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on both commercial and residential projects, where you will be responsible for applying paint, plastering, and restoring surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes. The Painter/Laborer will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Assist with masonry work as needed to support painting tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Restore surfaces by applying plaster or other materials as required.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial painting or commercial painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is a plus.
- Experience with masonry work is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
