Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Design, implement, and maintain a strategic risk management framework and relevant policies and processes, ensuring they are embedded across the Group, with cognizance of relevant regulations, external influences, key documents (strategic plan, business plan, risk registers) and discussions with management, regulators, and external audit.
- Ensure that risk management and reporting systems are suitable for the business's needs and the strategic needs of management, enabling agile and proactive risk management strategies and reporting, including clear visibility to management to assist in making strategic decisions and planning.
- Lead risk processes with senior management for the identification of key risks and oversee appropriate mitigation programs to completion.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures for relevant risk management strategies across all the relevant jurisdictions and areas.
- Provide assurance to the management and any relevant control committee that internal control, QA, and risk identification processes are robust.
- Manage the application process for different licenses, including North American, European, LATAM markets and more.
- Be responsible for audit and internal compliance processes as policies and procedures, including making sure the compliance of the items.
- Be the main focal point for compliance issues across the company, including in different jurisdictions.
- Be responsible for connection with external consultants and regulators regarding compliance issues in different jurisdictions.
- Submit reports in different jurisdictions.
- Collaborate and maintain continuous communication with different departments.
- Create a strategy for preventing violations of legal rules and internal policies guidelines.
- Evaluate the efficiency of controls.
- Identify risks or non-conformity issues.
- Design, improve, implement, and maintain the Due Diligence framework for the business.
- Supervise, oversee and validate the work of Due Diligence/ Compliance Officer
- Improve current strategies if necessary.
- Revise procedures, policies, and reports periodically.
- Conduct necessary compliance training for employees, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Provide support to the team in the implementation of standards.
- Create reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Assist with performing corporate structure changes.
- At least 4 years of experience in B2B Regulatory Compliance including audit processes in multiple jurisdictions
- Knowledge and experience to work comfortably with systems workflows alongside the technical compliance team, shareholders and C-level management.
- A deep understanding of the MGA regulations, license framework and all the related businesses.
- An enthusiastic team player with strong relationship management skills
- High attention to detail
- Fluent in English
