Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklifts. Your primary responsibility will be delivering freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes and delivery schedules
- Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness for operation
- Handle logistics cargo including freight that involves dangerous goods or hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license
- Demonstrated ability to drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks
- Familiarity with route driving, freight handling, and logistics cargo management
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials handling, and safety procedures
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates
- Delivery driver experience involving load & unload operations is highly valued
- Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus
Delivery driver position.
- You will either drive a flatbed, or a 10 wheel short bed with a moffett forklift on the back to make deliveries to businesses or homes.
- This is not strictly a driving job. This will require you to load and unload your own truck either using a forklift or moffett.
- You will also be required to help inside the plant occasionally on days when there are no deliveries to be made.
- This position is from 6AM-430PM.
This is not an on the road job, you will be home every night and get anywhere from 50-55 hours a week with weekly pay. Must have CDL-A WITH NO RESTRICTIONS, our trucks are manuals, must have up to date DOT physical, and be able to pass a drug test.
