Ruby Sunshine is seeking an organized, dependable, and guest-focused Dining Service Coordinator to support daily restaurant service and help ensure smooth front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate dining activities, assist guests, communicate with service and kitchen teams, and maintain efficient service standards in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily dining room and front-of-house operations.
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist with seating, table assignments, reservations, and guest flow.
- Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and management to support efficient service.
- Communicate guest requests, special accommodations, and order details to appropriate team members.
- Monitor dining areas and help ensure guests receive timely and attentive service.
- Assist with preparing tables, service stations, menus, and dining areas before service.
- Help coordinate food and beverage delivery to guests when needed.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas.
- Monitor front-of-house supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
- Assist with addressing routine guest questions and service concerns.
- Help identify service delays or operational issues and communicate them to management.
- Support the restaurant team during busy service periods and special events.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, dining service, or customer service experience preferred.
