Cashier/Runner for Ruby's Sourdough Pizza!

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests, ensuring that all orders are taken accurately and payments are processed smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system.
• Handle credit and debit transactions with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
• Assist in food preparation and serving as needed to support kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Support banquet operations by assisting with setup and breakdown as required.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Square POS or Toast POS, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Experience in culinary or kitchen settings is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Guest services experience within hospitality or hotel settings is beneficial.
