- Work with a computerized point of sales program.
- Assist customers with purchases.
- Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive/process payment.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop area.
- Complete opening and closing duties as needed.
- Effectively communicate with people of all backgrounds.
- Provide friendly customer service with meets the company's expectations and guidelines.
- Immediately acknowledge and greet guests.
- Accept payment and provide accurate change.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Effectively communicate with admissions team, maintenance, and management regarding areas of concern.
- Check areas for spills or fallen merchandise.
- Identity customer needs and answer product related questions.
- Stock and tag merchandise as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Stand for an 8 hour shift
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to grasp, press, push, pull to perform essential duties
- Bend, reach, and stoop
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Previous retail or customer service experience helpful, but not required.
- Must be able to add, subtract, and provide accurate change.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and respond to necessary documents.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision.
