Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician will play an essential role in supporting our clinical team by performing diagnostic testing and ensuring accurate and timely results. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Perform laboratory drug screening tests in office
- Collect and analyze data from testing and record results accurately
- Assist in the development and implementation of research projects
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols in the laboratory
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for testing
- Conduct quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals
- Assist with patient inquiries regarding results
- Maintain record of studies performed
- Assist in other back office duties as needed
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Preferred) (e.g., biology, chemistry, or related discipline)
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of scientific research methods and data analysis
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation
