General Description
RubinBrown Pathways is a one-day professional development workshop for college students. The objective of RubinBrown Pathways is to introduce students to career options at one of the nation’s leading accounting and professional consulting firms while developing skills vital to success in a professional services role.
Participants will be provided with an introduction to RubinBrown and the firm’s service offerings including assurance, tax, entrepreneurial services, wealth management, and consulting. Additionally, participants will learn foundational soft skills from RubinBrown professionals, network with firm leadership, and tour the firm’s facilities. The day will include interactive workshops on career path options, soft skills, and networking.

Please note this is an in-person event, and attendance for the entire day is required. While applications from candidates outside of the immediate metro are welcome, we are unable to provide travel stipends or reimburse travel expenses for this event.
Objectives:
Introduce participants to career options in a leading accounting and professional consulting firm
Help participants develop foundational soft skills such as time management, dealing with conflict, professionalism, and ethical decision making
Provide insight into professional services and client-facing roles
Build participants confidence in career planning
Provide participants with an opportunity to learn from and network with experienced professionals and firm leadership
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an intended major in business or a business-related area
Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior status
Professional interest in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Data Analytics
Compensation
This is an unpaid, one-day professional development workshop. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day.
