Role Description This is a part-time, fully remote Freelance Graphic Designer role for someone based within the United States or Puerto Rico. You'll create visual concepts and layouts for branding, marketing campaigns, and sales materials, and digital content that align with client goals and Rubia Group’s standards.
Responsibilities include designing logos and brand assets, developing graphics for print and web, selecting typography, and producing templates and style guides for consistent visual identity.
The role involves collaborating closely with marketing, web, and strategy teams to interpret briefs, refine creative directions, and deliver revisions based on feedback. The designer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, prepare production-ready files, and maintain organized design files and asset libraries.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics for both digital and print applications, with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse work.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating visual identities, style guides, and brand systems.
- Strong Typography skills, including font selection, hierarchy, readability, and layout composition.
- Advanced skills in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Figma or similar).
- Ability to translate strategic and marketing objectives into clear, compelling visual solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and receiving and implementing feedback constructively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. We're not hung up on titles- we value talent and experience more.
- Experience designing for government, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
