What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitor Services Associate position at Rubell Museum?
The Rubell Museum is seeking a personable Visitors Services Associate with excellent customer service skills and an interest in contemporary art to represent the Museum as the first point of contact for visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors as they enter the museum
- Provide information on exhibitions, programs, events and general information to visitors and callers in a professional manner
- Process admission fees and assist with membership sales
- Assist customers with purchases in the gift shop and operate Shopify POS system
- Restock inventory and maintain visual standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years customer service experience
- Experience with POS systems and standard computer programs
- Interest in arts and culture
- Interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work with the public in a fast-paced work environment
- Organized and self-motivated
- Flexible availability including holidays, nights, and weekends
