What are the responsibilities and job description for the Troweler / Construction Laborer position at Rubberstone NY?
Rubberstone NY is looking for a dependable and hardworking Concrete Troweler or Construction Laborer to join our crew. We install rubber stone and decorative concrete surfaces for residential and commercial projects. This is primarily outdoor work with steady hours during the active season.
Experience with concrete finishing or troweling is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of rubber stone and decorative concrete surfaces
- Troweling and finishing concrete or similar materials
- Site preparation and cleanup
- Loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Working as part of a small installation crew
Requirements:
- Construction or concrete experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and ability to work with a team
Compensation:
- $20 – $35 per hour depending on experience
