We have grown to be a trusted leader in producing high quality gaskets, seals, and thermal and acoustic control products for a variety of industries including appliance, HVAC, and transportation. We fabricate components from solid rubber, sponge rubber, foam, non-wovens, and pressure sensitive adhesives. RubberMill utilizes a wide variety of equipment including die-cutting belt presses, dieless cutters, slitters, laminators, and robotics to meet the specific needs of our customers. Since our products are used primarily by original equipment manufacturers, our goal is to help our customers exceed their customers’ expectations. We do this through building relationships with our customers, suppliers, and employees.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with various tools and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to fabricate and assemble products.
- Perform assembly line tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets in a timely manner.
- Assist in the movement of materials within the factory or warehouse setting, including operating forklifts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
- Operating hydraulic or rotary die-cutting machines to produce custom gaskets, seals, and rubber parts from sheet material.
- Using precision tools to cut or trim parts to exact dimensions and tolerances.
Experience
- Experience in ultrasonic
- Experience in packing
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Experience using power tools, hand tools, and forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control throughout the production process.
Skills, Abilities & Other Requirements
- Ability to operate or learn to use manufacturing equipment (e.g., presses, welders, cutters).
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle small parts or tools.
- Standing for long shifts, lifting 25–50 lbs, bending, twisting, or operating heavy machinery.
- Good eyesight for inspecting parts and reading labels or measurements.
