Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Government Sales Manager at our Buffalo, NY location. The Government Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with government agencies, municipalities, and other public sector clients. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing market opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals, and driving sales across designated regions. This role will also involve negotiating contracts, meeting sales goals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Qualifications
  • Experience in sales strategies, relationship building, and account management within the government or public sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for engaging effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and contracts, as well as market analysis and lead generation.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data management software related to sales operations.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Buffalo, NY, with a willingness to travel as needed for client engagement.
  • Previous experience in safety, construction, or sustainability products is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant role.
