About the Job
Ruan is hiring Class A CDL yard drivers to be based in Houston, TX, to move trailers in the yard and bakery to bakery for our dedicated customer, Flowers. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.
Pay
Get paid weekly while earning $21 per hour with overtime paid over 40 hours per week.
Schedule
Be home daily working a 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. shift with days off on Wednesday and Thursdays. Yard spotters will make 30 to 50 trailer moves per shift. Spotters will also occasionally shuttle trailers or deliver loads.
Equipment
Operate a yard horse moving 53' dry van trailers.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 22 years or older
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
- No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
- Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
