Responsibilities:
· Ingests, processes, transforms, and models’ data to ensure it is ready for consumption.
· Works with complex data pipelines, designing efficient data architectures, and developing automated systems to guarantee the availability of clean, accurate, and structured data.
· Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, and data analysts, to improve operational efficiency by enhancing data flow, integration, and accessibility to support real-time decision-making, business intelligence, and analytical initiatives.
· Identifies and addresses data quality issues and implements best practices for data governance and security.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS, or related field.
Experience:
4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Data Warehouse Developer, Database Analyst, or similar duties under a different job title.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
4 years of experience with:
1. Data engineering and/or designing/developing data warehouses;
2. Azure Data Factory;
3. Azure Data Lake;
4. SQL Scripting;
5. MS SQL Server and/or other DBMS;
6. Azure DevOps;
7. Visio or other modeling tools; and
8. Agile or Waterfall methodology.
