Medical Device Process Engineer

Location: Carrollton, TX (On Site)

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $80,000 - $92,000 USD per Year

Job description: RTRS Technologies is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to help build and maintain a manufacturing line for dental implant manufacturing. This is an opportunity to contribute to a medical device company from the beginning and gain insight into medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications: 

• Engineering bachelor's or master's degree.
• 3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Deep Knowledge CAD software (Solidworks).
• Deep knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 13485; 21 CFR part 820).
• Experience building manufacturing lines.
• Curious attitude and desire to learn.
• Self-motivated, and hard working.
• Excitement about contributing to bringing a medical device to market.
• Must be able to wear PPE for up to 7 hours in a day (lab coat, face mask, gloves etc., occasionally a respirator)
• Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise move 25 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a new manufacturing process including designing the process and training personal.
• Oversee day to day production, including a direct report.
• Manage Maintenance and Calibration of equipment.
• Design Dental Implants using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Qualify equipment including IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Implement risk assessment and design controls.
• Deliver and maintain MODs, SOPs, Forms, and Lists related to manufacturing.
• Active contributor to research and development of next generation dental implant design.
