RTR Automotive Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality repairs and exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time position with a stable schedule, a professional work environment, and opportunities for long-term growth.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Some Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid inspections, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, engines, and driveline components.
• Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Install, repair, rotate, and balance tires.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on gasoline vehicles and light-duty diesel vehicles.
• Utilize scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• Diesel experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional attitude.
• Must provide own basic tools.
